Black & White
In contrast to my love for colourful, vibrant documentary photographs, I have a real love for black and white photographs. The type that are deep and full of contrast. There is a wonderful emotive beauty in them. I was delighted last year when one of my couples who share the same interest asked that I photograph their entire wedding in black and white. It requires a different eye and composition than photographing a colourful scene. Plus I thoroughly enjoy shooting black and white on my Fuji cameras. They seem born for it.
